AM's 1/48 SBD constructed by Mr. Ed Kinney to represent Ens. Paul Schlegel's aircraft which he flew during the battle of Midway. Paul was originally assigned to the USS Saratoga but after she was torpedoed off Hawaii and went in for repairs his air group was assigned to the USS Yorktown to bolster the losses suffered during the Battle of the Coral Sea.
