'Mike Grant Decals' range of water-slide decals have excellent registration, colour density and thin carrier film, come with placement/painting instructions and respond well to most decal solvents. The decals are also light-fast and waterproof.
Some of the sheets are 'ALPS-printed'. The main difference between these and regular screen-printed decals is that the carrier-film covers the whole sheet. This means that each decal must be cut out individually (though in reality it's little different from using a regular decal sheet- who would drop an entire sheet of decals into the water anyway?). Nor is there any need to cut exactly around the edge of the decal- just trim 1-2mm outside of the decal image.
